When was the last time you had a completely immersive movie watching experience? When was the last time you played a game and felt one with the character? Don’t answer that, it was a rhetorical question! Or was it? 😉
Well, Asus ZenFone AR launched at CES 2017 has the answers to all your questions.
ZenFone AR is Daydream-ready and Tango-enabled smartphone.
Running Android 7.0 Nougat, this smartphone from the Taiwanese phone makers combines Google’s virtual reality platform with its augmented reality program. After Google’s Pixel, this is touted to be the first smartphone that will be ready for Daydream. However this is not the first Tango device, but unlike Lenovo Phab 2 Pro which runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, ZenFone AR features a faster Snapdragon 821 (which according to Asus has been customized for Tango).
Talking about screen resolution and size, ZenFone AR has a 5.7 inches (1440×2560) gorilla glass 4 screen with WQHD resolution so that you get amazing display. This new offering from Asus comes with a 23 megapixel camera along with Sony IMX 318 sensor, Optical Image Stabilization and can record videos in 4K. Also noteworthy is the Tritech autofocus combining IR laser with face detection, resulting in super fast focus under any conditions.
